Vessel ties up at the pier. Catch is unloaded onto the floor.

Grade

Exchange staff weigh, grade, and ice every lot. 95%+ cull accuracy.

STEP 3

Lots

Product is lotted by species and grade. Displayed on the floor.

STEP 4

Auction

Mon–Thu at 10:00 AM. Open competitive bidding.

STEP 5

Pay

Seller paid within 24 hours. Net of seller fee.

Icelandic species are welcome at the Exchange. SeaBid acts as Importer of Record and handles customs clearance, cold-chain logistics, and lot splitting. Product arrives via Eimskip weekly service and is displayed alongside local groundfish.
