Sellers have the option to refuse any bid price.
If the high bid does not meet your reserve you can refuse it. The first refusal is free \u2014 the lot runs again from the top. Refuse a second time and it leaves the floor, and the scratch fee applies.
How It Works
Unload
Vessel ties up at the pier. Catch is unloaded onto the floor.
Grade
Exchange staff weigh, grade, and ice every lot. 95%+ cull accuracy.
Lots
Product is lotted by species and grade. Displayed on the floor.
Auction
Mon–Thu at 10:00 AM. Open competitive bidding.
Pay
Seller paid within 24 hours. Net of seller fee.

Icelandic species are welcome at the Exchange. SeaBid acts as Importer of Record and handles customs clearance, cold-chain logistics, and lot splitting. Product arrives via Eimskip weekly service and is displayed alongside local groundfish.
